Established in 1963, the non-profit Broad and Gales Creek Community Association serves the residents of the community at large. The association acts as the governing board of the Broad and Gales Creek Volunteer Fire Department Station 13. The association also owns and maintains the properties of the Fire Department as well as the Community Building and Michael Joe Morton Memorial Park on Cactus Street off of Broad Creek Loop Road. The Broad and Gales Creek Community Association meets monthly on the second Thursday of each month at the Fire Department at 7:00pm. All community residents are always welcome.
